About Dan Ferg.
I’m Dan Ferg (Daniel Ferguson), a Melbourne-based product consultant, advisor and software builder. I help founders and mission-led teams turn hard product, operational and community problems into useful software, traction and a clearer route to market.
I founded Helping Group after the 2020 bushfires and spent three years as CEO of Communiti Labs, building tools that helped councils and practitioners turn community feedback into evidence. I write about what those ventures taught me, including the parts that didn’t work.
